この度、バーレーンで開催された国際パラリンピック委員会（IPC）総会にて、2021年のパラリンピックオーダー受賞者として、パーソンズIPC会長より勲章を頂戴いたしました。

この勲章は、パラリンピックを通じ誰もが活躍できるダイバーシティ＆インクルージョン（D＆I）社会の実現に向けたムーブメントに関られた皆さまの活動への賞だと思っております。

パラリンピックムーブメントの推進に尽力されて来られた皆さま、大変な困難の下での東京2020パラリンピック競技大会開催にご尽力された関係者の皆さま、競技団体の皆さま、チャリティーやボランティアなど色々な形で応援してくださった皆さま、そしていつも私たちに感動と勇気を与えてくれるアスリートの皆さまへ、心よりの感謝を申し上げます。
いただいた勲章を糧に、皆さまと一緒にD＆I社会の実現とパラスポーツの発展に向けてますます精力的に取り組んでまいりますので、今後ともどうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。

At the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Annual General Meeting in Bahrain, I was honored to be presented with the Paralympic Order by President Andrew Parsons as one of the 2021 recipients.

I believe that this honor should be shared by all those involved in the Paralympic Movement to promote Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) in society through para sports so that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their abilities in their own rights.

I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has worked hard to promote the Paralympic Movement and those who have made tremendous efforts to make the Tokyo 2020 Games possible in such an unprecedented environment, as well as to the National Paralympic Sports Federations, dedicated volunteers and supporters, and especially to the para athletes who continue to inspire us with their courage, determination and equity.
Driven by this recognition, I’ll renew my commitment to creating a D&I society and developing para sport more actively than ever, hopefully with the continued support of all of you.
